Mississippi Counties

You may be surprised at the number of people who do not know what county they live in or what counties surround their county. Here is a map of all the counties in Mississippi. I've highlighted the counties that are in WLBT's primary coverage area. We can be seen in areas outside of our coverage area, but we normally do not do weather cut-ins for those counties as they are serviced by the Greenville, Meridian, and Hattiesburg television markets. We do get a ton of phone calls and emails from viewers outside of our coverage area who need weather information and we do our best at helping them.
